Hello and welcome to Bigfoot's Corner and Handyman Services. I'm W. D. Rhodes Jr. and this is my wife Shawn, besides being a handyman, and a mechanic, I also have been an artist and a writer, and I have performed in my music video's they were a lot of fun!
Hope you enjoy the videos below. People started calling me "Bigfoot" whenever they would see me, because of one of the song's and video's we did, and I kind of like the nickname, that's where the name of the Business comes from.
W. D. Rhodes Jr. "Takes Flight"
I love this video and the music! Gene Charlebois made this video, with left over clips from another music video we recorded. So much fun!
"Bigfoot Gave me the finger" by W. D. Rhodes Jr.
Once upon a time ago, I drove a tractor trailer, and in my down time I had nothing to do but write songs, and what is it that truck drivers unfortunately get a lot of?
"The Finger!" and I thought what could be funnier and at the same time make light of and show people that someone giving you the finger is really no big deal!
"Chupacabra stole my Marijuana" by W. D. Rhodes Jr.
So I set out to write songs about every mythical creature, there is, and there are lyrics that are very cool, that never got recorded, about aliens and the tooth fairy, etc.
I enjoyed playing different Charaters for this video.
"World Peace" by W. D. Rhodes Jr.
Ok just in case you can't tell, I was a big "John Lennon" fan, and "Beatles fan" this song was me trying to imagine lyrics that "John Lennon" might write if he was still alive, but that is just impossible!
"Return of the Hippies" by W. D. Rhodes Jr.
At the time I wrote this, I really had no idea what a hippie really was, a friend had told me that toga wearing hippies got the idea from following Jesus
"Afraid of my mailbox" by W. D. Rhodes Jr.
Totally got the idea from a house I was living in that was full of red wasps, and if you went to check the mail, you guessed it red wasps!
"666 REASONS" (To Follow Jesus) by W. D. Rhodes Jr.
This song and video get a bad rap because I used the number that so many are afraid of, Originally, I was going to try and name actual reasons, I'm proud of this song and video, but unfortunately it never gets seen because the number in the name, It uses a play on words, talking about a choice at the cross in the roads.
"Bigfoot Mating Season" by Gene Charlebois
and W. D. Rhodes Jr.
I love Weird Al's music, and I always wanted to do some parodies, and I originally wrote lyrics a parody of Iron Man, which was hilarious, and there were clips for a new video too, which were a lot of fun, and would have been the best we ever made, but it cost a lot of money to do a parody, so I just let the idea die.
Eventually Gene rewrote the song and changed the music, and it's still really cool!
